Salam.

Okay people, attach ur seatbelt. You're going on a journey to Selangor but through the history of life in KUIS. So get ready for a goood post, sweethearts!

How unbelievable it may seems but it's the reality. Up to date, it's been nearly a year for us (Along, Achik and Andak). So some people might wanna know how does it feel to be there, so we are going to share as much as we can.=))

Easily said, it all started when we the 3 of us planned of pursuing our studies in Malaysia. Andak had been really rooted to her decision of entering KUIS. But for along and achik, it was not in the list. But for some reasons, and of course because of fate, we are there. And we have nothing to regret. Alhamdulillah.

We couldn't describe how sad were we to left our friends. Eventhough we are not contacting with some of them, they still have a place in our heart. So we undergone our orientation with contented plus heavy heart. We felt lucky to enjoy the orientation eventhough it was quite stressful. With a very strict discipline leader. There were a lot of speeches regarding the departments and some processes in KUIS. But it really digested into our mind when we actually went to the various departments and walked around in KUIS for many times.

KUIS seems peculiar in our first thought and we thought we could get lost in it. But for now, we could say that KUIS isn't really big after all but very beautiful. During our first few days, we really had a culture shock on how life it is. The way people treat us and also how some things work. But now it doesn't matter anymore. And we are really thankful that we could adapt easily with boys in our classes. Some are very gentlemen and some are childish. But they are mature enough to be compared from the boys here and a lot better. It's the truth, people! So some might think that we certainly might have crushes on some boys, whatever it is, it is not serious for now.

What were the things that we did during the first semester that we could really remember? Some of them might be really funny too. Let's see..

1. We are really 'kan ciong' during the first day of academic week. We went out as early as 7 a.m to search for the time table. Unfortunately, there were no timetable. So we just sitting around taking pictures. And we didn't bother to do that again in our second semester. We are getting cleverer you see. Haha.
'Kan ciong' no. 2 is whenever there were any programs, we were always the early bird and we would not miss any programs as long as we could follow. We thought of the merits and all. During the 2nd semester we followed a lot of programs. But we tend to choose the programs that we wanna go to and we would not arrive too early anymore. The programs were just unpunctual.
3. We had to message each other to inform about any programs. But we don't have to do that anymore. The 10 of us are now neighbours.
4. During our life in Singapore, we never ever been to a concert. But in KUIS itself, a lot of concerts were held during our first semester. You all could have guessed, we went to all of the concerts. And believe it or not, we are getting bored of it.
5.We celebrated the birthday of each of us (of the 10 people) in different ways and it was really fun, to be exact. Different celebrations, different surprises.
6. We couldn't help, but most of the time stuck together the 10 of us. But we are more independent now and some of us are quite close with our Malaysian friends.
7. We thought that it is quite hard to be close with the Malaysians, but they had proven us wrong. Talking to guys and presenting in the presence of them weren't that hard after all.
8. During our first semester we thought many of the things there were just compulsary, but we do actually have the choice.
9. The study life at a college is different unlike in school. During schooldays, we had homeworks and memorisations. But in a college, we have assignments, presentations, tests and exams. It's all taken into record. And we will take this seriously.
10. Classes are not on the same time everyday. We could just go back to our dorm if there are no more classes. We are even free to go in and out the college before the clock strikes eleven p.m.
11. And this is the truth, we have the feeling that we are younger than our classmates that we didn't really care of being childish.
12. We found it impossible to speak in complete Malay. Some of our words must have been in English language. Even some of the Malay words they use we found it alien. But we could say that we could make it now. We also knew numerous words from the different states.
13. Soaking, washing, hanging, folding and ironing the clothes are our all-time-favourite chores. What's life in college without it? Hehe.
14. Our favourite pastime are watching movies, surfing the net or just talking for hours with each other. Weekends were sometimes real bored as we found it very far to go out of the college.
15. We got to feel how is it like fasting without families by our side. Performing Tarawih in the mosque with other students is so refreshing.

So, you get the idea of what is life at KUIS is all about? That isn't all, we will come up with our life during our second semester. And if you really wonder about something, just ask us. We will elaborate it right here. =))Watch out for the pics!

..."> > (Lalu bacalah surah Al Fil / membayangkan kehancuran tentera Yahudi - dengan Izin Allah) Surah al fil: "A'lam tara kayfa fa'ala rabbuka bi as-hab al-fil "A'lam ya'jal kaydahum fi tadlil Wa arsala alayhim tayran ababil "Tarmihim bi hijaratin min sijjil Fa ja'ala hum ka asfin ma'kul"

Wasiat...

Pesan Hamba :-
1. berselawatlah untuk junjungan kita Nabi Muhammad s.a.w
2. bertaubatlah dengan segera sementara pintu taubat masih terbuka.
3. janganlah derhaka kepada ibu-bapa.

Wallahu'alam.
